To learn effectively we must create a learning journal. You can do this manually in a notebook, or you can create a google drive folder with specific and targeted documents to highlight the topics you are studying.
Knowledge is equal to memory. We learn by observing first, and then reflecting. To reflect, it is a good idea to have notes, images, sound bites, and videos to jog your memory. Keeping an organised file with content that you are studying will drastically improve your learning capability, encouraging your memory and cognition to expand.
Most people use their smart devices to keep notes and links. We can make this process more proficient by also keeping a physical artefact to log ideas and bullet-points of information. The concatenation of a digital and organic logging process is important for embedding activity into the brain and mind. We are more likely to remember something if we have physically written it down, and this is because the brain maps the muscle memory from the activity, which triggers the visual data (concepts and symbols) from the writing process.

If you've never used google mail before, I'd recommend it. It provides you with a free drive which stores 15GB of memory. This lets you upload documents, and all types of files to store and download anywhere onto your smart phone. It also enables you to create folders and documents for your own personal learning journey. It has been an imperative tool for me personally, as it has allowed me to compartmentalise and structure the various information and designs for this site.
